Spark of Goodwill from EFNT Member Company

ENTREPRENEURS FOUNDATION & IGNITE TECHNOLOGIES PARTNER ON
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

- ‘Spark’ of goodwill to benefit Second Chance SPCA in Plano -

DALLAS, TX, May 2, 2007 –Employees at Ignite Technologies, a Frisco-based content delivery
technology company, are embarking on their first community service project on Friday, May 4, when they shine their light on Second Chance SPCA, a no-kill animal shelter in Plano.

Ignite’s community service program is called SPARK and its motto is “Service Starts with a SPARK.”

Ignite is a member company of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, which helps companies give back to the community by assisting in organizing volunteer activities for employees.

“We are proud of CEO Jim Janicki and his employees at Ignite Technologies for recognizing the importance of corporate citizenship,” said Pam Gerber, executive director of Dallas-based EFNT. “We hope that other companies will follow Ignite’s lead in giving back to their communities.”

Ignite designated the event as an official company community service day and many of Ignite’s employees will participate. The project involves manpower hours and many dollars of materials to complete three key construction projects in the shelter. A Kitty Castle will be built in the office area which will greatly expand the cats’ living and playing quarters. Two existing closets and one common area will be outfitted with better storage areas including shelving and cubby hole storage. Lastly, outdoor play areas at the shelter will be partially covered to provide shade and a cooler play environment for those long, hot Texas summers.

“EFNT provides a great venue for growth-based companies to easily and effectively become involved in their community,” said Jim Janicki, president and chief executive officer at Ignite. “At Ignite, it was important to establish a culture of service and provide our employees with the opportunity to be involved in community projects. Additionally, working together helps build team spirit and collaboration across various departments,” added Janicki.

About

Second Chance SPCA

SCSPCA was established in August of 2005 with the mission of rescuing unwanted dogs and cats from the area’s city animal control facilities. It is a 501c3 corporation staffed and supported by volunteers and donors. In February of 2006 shelter space for SCSPCA was generously provided by Doggie’s Wonderland in Plano enabling the rescue and adoption of more than 350 animals to date. The community has been extremely supportive with their response to adopting these wonderful animals. For more information please visit www.scspca.org. New volunteers and donations are always needed and appreciated.
