DALLAS – More than 300 Dallas-area executives are expected to come together on Thursday, June 11th for the 8th Annual Spirit of Entrepreneurship celebration where Blockbuster CEO Jim Keyes will be inducted into the Ring of Entrepreneurs. With the theme “Lights, Camera… Action in Philanthropy,” the invitation-only event will be hosted by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas (EFNT), a fund at Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT).
After a reception at 6 p.m., Keyes will participate in a Q&A session moderated by Stedman Graham, CEO of S. Additionally, the North Star Award will be presented to Dallas-based Beryl for the example it has set for corporate community involvement. “Dallas was founded on an amazing combination of entrepreneurism and civic involvement,” said Pam Gerber, executive director of EFNT, “and this event is a celebration of that spirit – a spirit that continues to make an incredibly positive impact on our community.”
