Monday, January 16th 

Plug 'N Play – MLK Day with The Stewpot at The Bridge

Making it easy to do good, EFNT kicked off 2012 with a Plug 'N Play with The Stewpot at The Bridge. More than 30 Good Corporate Citizens spent 3 hours providing breakfast and lunch to nearly 1300 people in need.

Good Corporate Citizenship Roundtable – FOR PRACTITIONERS ONLY - 7:30am – 9am

To generate ideas and share best practices among like-minded good corporate citizens, EFNT hosts a series of gatherings for the Practitioners of its Member Companies.  These meetings will provide trainings to develop, manage and improve community involvement and philanthropy programs.  The discussion encouraged information sharing about a wide-range of policies and procedures as they relate to corporate giving, corporate infrastructure, business practices, marketing and communications, employee giving and employee volunteerism.

EFNT Supply Drive* Benefitting North Dallas Shared Ministries

EFNT will provide advice and materials to ensure a successful drive supporting NDSM's efforts to feed 700 people – 800 people each week.

Plug 'N Play -- Youth Village -- 75 Volunteer Slots

Youth Village is a residential facility for adjudicated young men between the ages of 10 and 17 who have been found by the courts to be in need of supervision. Volunteers will spend the day painting, landscaping in the community garden, hosting educational activities for the residents and more.

Good Corporate Citizenship Conference - $50 FOR MEMBERS AND $75 FOR NON-MEMBERS -7:30am – 3pm

EFNT's Good Corporate Citizenship Conference is for North Texas companies to develop and strengthen their community involvement and philanthropy programs.  The half day conference will showcase Good Corporate Citizenship programs from a variety of small, medium and large companies, as well as other celebrated experts. Attendees include HR and Marketing professionals, Community Relations practitioners, and others working to develop or enhance their company's corporate citizenship programs.

Plug 'N Play – Texas Trees Foundation - Unlimited Volunteer Slots

The mission of the Texas Trees Foundation is to preserve, beautify and expand parks and other public natural green spaces, and to beautify public streets, boulevards and rights-of-way by planting trees and encouraging others to do the same through educational programs. Volunteers will be engaged in a variety of projects including planting and transplanting seedlings, staking, weeding, watering and mulching.

Plug 'N Play – North Texas Food Bank: Food For Families – 15 Volunteers at Each Location

Volunteers will sort and distribute food for the Food For Families Program which serves clients from across Dallas County

Plug 'N Play- Hunger Busters- 15 Volunteer Slots Each

Hunger Busters' mission is to provide a much-needed third meal of the day to food-insecure children in Dallas. EFNT Volunteers will build sandwiches, pack fresh fruit and cookies in meal boxes to feed children in eleven DISD schools.

Freedom Day 2012 – 500 Volunteers

Every year, EFNT hosts Freedom Day, a powerful day of community service that was developed to honor the lives lost and changed on September 11, 2001. This year, more than 500 volunteers from EFNT Member Companies will join together for our 11th annual event!

EFNT Supply Drive Benefitting The Senior Source – Unlimited Volunteer Slots

The Senior Source aims to improve the quality of life of older adults in the greater Dallas area through protection, eldercare, advocacy, volunteerism, and employment services. EFNT Member Companies will be invited to collect basic needs products for the residents of a selected nursing home. Thursday, November 15th

Plug 'N Play-Senior Source

Volunteers will deliver donations collected from the EFNT Senior Source Supply Drive to the benefitting assisted living facility. Volunteers will then spend the afternoon doing activities with its residents.

Global Entrepreneur Week in Partnership with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship – FOR C-LEVEL EXECUTIVES ONLY

Continuing in what has become a much enjoyed annual volunteer opportunity during Global Entrepreneurship Week, EFNT partners with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) for its  "Guest Entrepreneur Speaker Blitz!" EFNT's Member C-Level executives will share stories of their challenges and successes of building a business with middle and high school students in low-income communities.

Plug 'N Play- North Texas Food Bank Food Bank 75 Volunteer Slots

Partnering with the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), EFNT Volunteers will sort, box and bag food for distribution to the NTFB's 300 Member Agencies including soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, afterschool programs, and faith-based groups for the North Texas Food Bank's Food 4 Kids and Senior Food Programs.
