Chris Kleinert’s affiliation with Hunt Consolidated, Inc. began in 1996 as investment manager for Hunt Financial Corporation (which today is known as Hunt Private Equity Group). Today, he serves as president of Hunt Investment Corporation, which oversees and directs investments made by Hunt BioVentures, Hunt Growth Capital, Hunt Private Equity Group, Hunt Special Situations Group and Hunt Ventures. 

Chris received an MBA with a concentration in finance from Texas Christian University, and a BBA in marketing from Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining Hunt, he was employed by Texas Commerce Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) and General Mills.

Chris currently serves on the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees of Southern Methodist University, the Board of Directors of SMU’s Tate Lecture Series, and the Program Committee of SMU’s Cox School of Business Southwest Venture Forum. He also serves on the advisory boards of Amegy Bank (Dallas) and the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas. He is a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber Board of Directors, the Positive Coaching Alliance Board, and the Lone Star Dallas Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization.
