Mr. Roman Kikta is the General Managing Partner of the Mobility Ventures Fund. Prior to that, Mr. Kikta was General Partner and co-founder of Genesis Campus, a technology business creation incubator, accelerator and early-stage venture fund headquartered in the Telecom Corridor® of Richardson, Texas. Roman Kikta is a wireless industry pioneer who has worked for leading companies including: Nokia, Matsushita/Panasonic, GoldStar and OKI. Mr. Kikta is an acknowledged expert on market trends globally from anthropological, sociological and psychological perspectives, and on the role of technologies on society. He has led development of several industry firsts, including: cellular payphone, cellular in-building system/PBX adjunct, voice recognition dialer, several generations of mobile, transportable and portable phone designs, features and functions, as well as the initial product launch of PCS in the US.
Mr. Roman Kikta has also co-authored four books published by McGraw-Hill on communications technologies, including: Wireless Internet Crash Course; 3G Wireless Demystified; Delivering xDSL; and CDMA IS-95 for Cellular and PCS: Technology, Economics and Services. Mr. Kikta has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in History and Economics, and he is a Fellow of the Radio Club of America. |
