Benjamin Nelson, is vice president and general counsel, Hunt Investment Corporation. In this capacity, he is responsible for oversight and legal representation. Before joining Hunt, Nelson  was a corporate securities partner with Hughes & Luce LLP in Dallas, and before, that he worked with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California and Austin, Texas and with Fulbright & Jaworski in Dallas, Texas. While at these firms, he helped clients close more than 150 private equity, M&A, public offering or other financing transactions. Nelson graduated from Duke Law School with a J.D. and Stanford University with a B.A. in history.
